This does not look anything like the black and brick red adult Orchard Oriole. Most Orioles, including the Baltimore Oriole, have a first year plumage from Sept. of the year they hatched until Aug. of the following year.

While I was looking for Marsh Wrens along a boardwalk; Pat found this Humming Bird on its nest from the car. She was watching a Humming Bird feeding near the base of the tree. When she saw it fly up into the tree the second time; she carefully watched it and spotted the nest; the only one either of us have seen in use.

Notice the tails of the first 2 ducks. The Rudy Duck is actually part of a subfamily of ducks named Stiff Tailed Ducks.
